Mimic Social

In my Social Media Creation and Application class, we used a simulator called Mimic Social to run paid ad campaigns.

We were placed in the position of Social Media Manager for a fictional bag company known as Buhi. Every week we were given a $5,000 budget.

Using this budget, we selected our content from pre-created media such as photos, videos, or infographics. Using this media, we created our posts, selected the social media channel to post it to (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and/or YouTube), decided how much we wanted to spend and who we wanted to target with it, and scheduled the date and time it would be posted.

After each week, the software would give us analytics on each post and on the platforms themselves. Following this, we had an analysis round to ensure that we understood our data before moving into another round of posting.

I finished second second in my class.
