My name is Ivy Engel and I just graduated from the University of Wyoming. I majored in biology and I have minors in business and journalism.
I’m a huge Disnerd and take every opportunity to visit the parks and watch their movies. Meeting Baymax was a major highlight of my last trip to Disney World!
Other places I’m often found are zoos and aquariums. If I’m visiting any new place, I make a point of checking out their zoo or aquarium! The above pictures were taken at Wildlife World Zoo and OdySea Aquarium in Scottsdale, AZ.
I also spend a lot of time with my adorable pets.
In my little one bedroom, I have a dog, Brack;
two betas, Francis Crick & Georg Brandt (I name all of my betas after scientists);
and a leopard gecko, Leo.
Plus I have over 100 plants on nearly every surface of the house!
I’m also passionate about science and science outreach and I intend to go into the field of science communication.
